Daffodil White Lion
Recipient of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, Narcissus White Lion has fragrant double flowers. Each flowering stem may have one or more flowers and reach a height of 40cms. The white petals are interspersed or layered with pale creamy yellow fragments of trumpet. Easily grown in sun or partial shade, these beautiful narcissi make a wonderful display in borders and containers. They are equally at home growing amongst shrubs or naturalised under deciduous trees. Double daffodils should only be cut when fully open. Since strong winds cause flower stems to break, it is recommended that Daffodil ‘White Lion’ be given a sheltered location. Flowering period is mid to late Spring.
