Daphne Eternal Fragrance
Very long-flowering and uniquely unfussy for a daphne, hybrid Daphne x transatlantica Eternal Fragrance is a small, rounded, evergreen or semi-evergreen shrub with small, elliptical, glossy, deep green leaves. It produces clusters of beautifully scented flowers, pink in bud and pure white within, in flushes from April to October. Lovely at the front or corner of a border, and good for small gardens, it also does well in pots by a door where the scent can be enjoyed daily. Be aware that all parts of the plant are toxic if eaten, and the sap is an irritant. Also known as Daphne Biafra, Daphne Eternal Fragrance holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
