Lenten Rose Winter Sunshine

A 2007 introduction from England’s Harveys Garden Plants, Hellebrous Winter Sunshine is a clump-forming, semi-evergreen herbaceous perennial that will grow up to 45cm high. It has glossy dark olive-green leaves with pewter-grey veins and it flowers from late winter to early spring. The flowers have green centres and long creamy stamens, the petals opening creamy-white become pinkish-red with age.

Soil: Any well-drained but moist, humus-rich soil, neutral to alkaline preferred
