Shrub Rose Eyes For You
A large-flowered floribunda hybrid of desert-adapted Rosa persica with the characteristic persica dark eye, Rosa persica Eyes for You is a small, deciduous, repeat-flowering, shrub rose with a compact habit and good, glossy mid-green foliage. From midsummer to autumn, buttermilk-coloured buds open to clusters of large, blousy, semi-double, cupped white flowers with a mauve flush, a deep purple eye and golden stamens; the fruity fragrance is medium in strength. Shrub rose Eyes for You is a tough, very healthy rose with excellent repeat-flowering, good at the front of a sunny border or in soil-based compost in a large container. Easy to grow; just keep dead-heading, and prune in winter.
