Climbing Rose Zéphirine Drouhin
A very popular, thornless, Bourbon rose, Rosa Zéphirine Drouhin is a deciduous climbing rose with semi-glossy, mid-green, divided leaves. It’s a very good repeat-flowerer, flowering almost continually from mid-summer to early winter. Masses of loosely-formed, cup-shaped, cherry-pink – even shocking pink – semi-double flowers with a strong, delicious scent are borne from June to December. Climbing rose Zéphirine Drouhin tolerates poor soil, and can be grown on a north-facing wall, but it is not very disease-resistant, so it’s better grown up an airy pillar than trained on a wall. Best on a warm site.
